Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains when BareSet refunds dedicated server orders. It forms part of the Terms of Service. Contact: Support or support@bareset.com.
1. 14-day money-back
Every plan includes a 14-day money-back path. If the host is not a fit, say so within 14 days of the first charge for that new machine and we refund the full amount for that order.
The path covers the first invoice for a new server: plan and add-ons on that order. It is per new service, not a rolling reset each time you renew.
2. How to ask
- Open a ticket on Support or email support@bareset.com from the order address.
- Include the order email and, if you have it, the panel username.
- We reply with the next step.
Refunds go back to the original payment method. You can download snapshots from the panel before we close the instance. After removal, files stay downloadable for 14 days, then are deleted.
3. What is not covered
- Chargebacks filed without talking to Support first
- Machines we suspend for abuse, malware, or illegal content
- Add-on months you buy after the original 14-day window
- Third-party licenses you purchased elsewhere
- Renewals or later cycles after the first invoice for that machine
4. EU / EEA consumers
Distance-selling rules may also give you a 14-day withdrawal right. Hosting starts as soon as the machine is live. If you ask us to start immediately, that can affect how withdrawal works. The 14-day money-back on this page is the simple commercial path, subject to section 3. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected where they go further.
5. After 14 days
Turn Auto-renew off so you are not billed again. Prepaid orders do not auto-renew unless you turn Auto-renew on. We do not prorate a started prepaid month unless we caused a long outage and agree a credit through Support. Removing a machine from Settings stops the instance. Leftover prepaid time is not automatically refunded.
