Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to BareSet dedicated servers, this website, and the customer panel. By creating an account, placing an order, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use BareSet.

1. Scope and provider

BareSet is a dedicated hosting brand at bareset.com. Provider identity on the Imprint will match the operating entity once it is registered. Contact for support: support@bareset.com.

2. Service

BareSet provides dedicated servers in Greifswald, Germany. You receive a physical machine from the servers list, or a custom build we agree in writing, plus panel access and IPMI or a remote console. You run the operating system.

Prices on the website are in EUR per month. The price that applies is the one shown at checkout. Optional add-ons (DDoS protection, extra IPs, private networking, upgrades, colo, custom hardware) are sold as listed or quoted.

3. Account

Keep login and IPMI details private. You are responsible for activity under your account and for everyone you give root, panel, or console access to, except where caused by our proven breach of security duties.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

• run malware, open scanners, or attacks against other networks
• host content that is unlawful under German or EU law
• phish, spam, or commit fraud
• interfere with other customers or the hall

We may suspend a machine that is an obvious attack source or that breaks German or EU law, with notice where reasonable.

5. Billing

Cycles are 1, 3, 6, or 12 months, paid up front for the cycle you select. There is no automatic renewal unless you turn Auto-renew on. Failed charges may result in suspension after the paid-through date. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.

6. Data and backups

Automated snapshots are a convenience, not your only copy. After you remove a machine, files stay downloadable for 14 days, then are deleted, unless law requires longer retention.

7. Support and uptime

Support covers the panel, billing, provisioning, IPMI, and host-side faults. Application setup stays on your side. We work to keep machines up. Maintenance and upstream events can affect availability. Credits, if any, are handled case by case.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, and where mandatory law so requires. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties, limited to foreseeable damage typical for dedicated hosting. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected where applicable.
